... my garden is not decided. Sometimes he plays with the palette of red / orange, sometimes it appears that the sun yellow or pink candy. At the slightest thaw, I see the flowers reappear missing for several weeks. The result is not always happy but how plants tell which are embedded, they have outlived their usefulness. Place in the fall!
Here is one that is in season, the Viburnum opulus, closely followed by the Acer Garnet and overtaken by the Prunus Amanogawa. On the first picture you can see from left to right a Viburnum opulus, a Spirea arguta yellow, pink Escallonia still flowering and before a Hosta, a Viburnum davidii green throughout the year and a leading Japanese Cryptomeria 'elegans "that turn red in winter. Finally, it is really cold, otherwise it's hard to change color. It's the same for the Nandina "fire power" Abélia "kaleidoscope" and some others who cling most of the year at their spring color.
The Acer palmatum dissectum Garnet is beautiful this year. Last year, a bad wind is swirling that lasted no less than fifteen days, had plucked like a chicken ready for the oven. I changed to spring, well sheltered, he is finally happy and it shows!
Prunus Amanogawa which was still green the last few days caught fire in one day. He planted in the East, as his twin brother planted in the West, not a color of autumn
The Rose Jacques Cartier has found its place in the garden along the ribbon Shepherdess presented in a previous post, a Taxus Baccata "fastigiata aurea" and a Clematis' Star of Malice. " I wanted to show it because bought with a beautiful flower, but one should never postpone.
I found with a single petal hanging miserably. Also, I am allowed to borrow this picture that represents perfectly:
Speaking of clematis, what say you of my city of Lyon? It seems to go again despite Cherry leaves falling around her
Three beards snake or Ophiopogon "nigrescens" also came to the garden. These plants are creeping, it seems? If you have any, what can you tell me about them?
Grasses, when you hold us .... Here are two stories:
The first is a Carex buchananii planted to accompany the Sahara Rose. My clump is so frenzied that it looks like Einstein equation in full ... I'll show a picture after regaining his senses!
the same time, look most likely my last rose Sahara, which no longer looks like much, it must be admitted:
The second is a Stipa arundinacea " sirocco "stuck in the pit of Phormium 'Rainbow Queen" which it takes the same colors. I'm not sure you'll be able to see this little foot. See you next summer!
And here's the list of plants that will not stop blooming and who do not get the fall.
The Dimorphotheca is more beautiful than ever and the two other legs as well. In addition, they argue, argue in the driveway ... I wonder where it will stop!
The Abelia "Kaleidoscope" which does not change color at home but has a return of youth .. lol .. He has done virtually nothing of what was lazy and now impossible to calm him
It is in flower from March to autumn. Unfortunately, very fragile, I try the experiment. The first picture shows my little foot newly planted and the second photo, it will if everything goes well. Polygala myrtifolia cute .... do not you think?
And then we do not laugh at my misfortunes! While I admired the beautiful Japanese Anemones on every blog, I just tufts of dried buttons and shriveled. I have not two but one, enjoy. I'm not sure the other buttons will open. This is the Anemone Rotkäppchen:
And to finish this post, here are some suns in our sky to fall. Yellow, yellow and even yellow:
Little Mallow Japan, planted in the spring
The Daylily 'Stella de Oro' :
And I must Fremontodendron .... if so ... it flowers again:
I return to the garden, I still have bulbs to plant. I must prepare for the next spring. In May I will celebrate two years of my arrival ..... and hopefully, I note with pleasure that there was work done!
